Organisational Risk Practitioner

PURPOSE OF THE QUALIFICATION

The purpose of this qualification is to prepare a learner to be able to manage risk management plans in support of an organisation’s risk framework, which is generally the responsibility of Risk Officers. The Risk Practitioners assist the Risk Officers by undertaking or facilitating activities related to the implementation of the plans for managing risk in an organisation.

Generic Management

PURPOSE OF THE QUALIFICATION

The purpose of this qualification is to equip managers with the skills and knowledge to manage first line managers, including team leaders, supervisors, junior managers, section heads and foremen.

WHO SHOULD ATTEND?

The skills, knowledge and understanding demonstrated within this qualification are essential for the creation of a talent pool of experienced and effective middle managers that represents the demographics of the South African society. This qualification will create a leadership cadre for the South African society throughout multiple industries and sectors both private and public.

The target group therefore is anyone already employed in middle management but lacking the knowledge and skills, or anyone being considered for promotion to middle management.

Micro Finance
 

National Certificate Level 3, 121 Credits (SAQA ID:23453)

PURPOSE OF THE QUALIFICATION

The learnership aims to equip learners with the tools to function effectively as microfinance officers in a Micro-Finance Institution (MFI) whether they are already employed or wanting to be employed in the micro finance field. Upon successful completion, the learner will be competent to handle all aspects of the loan cycle from dealing with an application, through processing the loan disbursements to handling repayments.
